Mondello Park.
We’ve just returned from a very cold Mondello. This Rally sprint was organised by the Carlow Car Club.
The event was well subscribed with around 110 entries. There were alsorts of rally/rallycross cars there as you will see from the selection of pictures.
We were there to deliver the silver 206 back to its owner after having a 6speed sequential (Sadev) box, and some big brakes fitted.
The 206 is a strong finishing car having a 1400 G&G Motorsport engine built and fitted at the start of this year.
The sprint consisted of three timed sprints around the Mondello circuit (lose and sealed surface). The 206 finished 41st overall, finishing in front of many 1600 cars.
